Lion in the Cage

A lion on the deck
His Golden hair is stained with dust
He strolls ，to and fro
Bows his head，no roar
Puffs and blows，instead

Hurricane sweeps over the blackish green waves
Spindrifts float and
Draw the Early-Spring’s chill
Looking at the sky, he is prostrate and shaking

Be moved from place to place, year in and year out
In his dreams ，Forest gradually blurred, no doubt
The master cracks the whip
backward and forward with ease——
That’s him ——living with old scars and new wounds

Now，Lone night，starry sky
What does he await in the cage？——
It is only a lie
Boundless，the world
Homeless，his fate
